The Camp: Carroll Indoor Summer Sports Camp is a unique camp that lasts throughout the summer for kids aged 6-13. (anyone age 13 as of 6/17/2024 is eligible to attend) The camp provides an all day active environment and emphasizes sportsmanship and fair play. The activities and games are set up much like a physical education class at school. The camp directors post a daily schedule of structured activities and all must participate. The camp incorporates almost every imaginable sports activity. It is not highly instructional but a “learn by doing” atmosphere makes CISC a fun camp for the active child. Most of the sports activities are divided into two or more age groups. Carroll Indoor offers a climate controlled environment – excessive heat, rain, or thunderstorms do not interrupt play.
The Staff: Our summer sports camp is staffed by those who like sports and love children. The majority of our staff are local physical education or elementary school teachers. We also utilize the expertise of several college student athletes. All of our staff must have criminal background checks and are registered by the state of Maryland to work with children in a day camp environment. CPR and first aid training are required. Our camper to staff ratio will be no more than 15 to 1.
Camp Hours: Campers may be dropped off as early as 7:30 AM and must be picked up by 5:30 PM. The structured activities run 9 AM – 4 PM.
Flexibility: Campers may register to come for the entire week or just one or two days per week. Some campers attend for the entire summer (ten weeks) while others may come for only one or two weeks.
Cost: At under $60 per day, our camp is competitively priced with other available camps and day care centers. We offer a discount for full week registrations and for multiple child families. A deposit is required with registration. All deposits are non refundable and cannot be transferred to other dates or other campers.
Early Registration before May 12: Daily rate is $50 and weekly rate is $185. For 2nd child, $45 daily and $165 weekly. For 3rd child, $40 daily and $145 weekly. Early registrations will be accepted up to 6 PM on May 12th. A $5/day deposit is required for each child.
Regular Registration after May 12: Daily rate is $55 and weekly rate is $225. For 2nd child, $50 daily and $205 weekly. For 3rd child, $45 daily and $185 weekly. Regular registrations will be accepted up to 6 PM on the Friday prior to the week attending. A $10/day deposit is required for each child.
Drop-In Registration: This option is available when space permits. Completed registration form must be brought to office with full payment. Cost is $60/day.
Also Included: Our cost also includes a hot lunch and afternoon snack for all campers.
